Do I have to be married or engaged to attend this conference?
No. This event is designed for singles as well. Any adult who wants to have more harmonious and meaningful relationships and a better understanding of the opposite gender is encouraged to come.
What should I bring with me to the conference?
Be sure to bring your Conference Tickets and a form of photo ID with you to present at the check in table both days when you arrive at the church. You will also need to bring money for lunch on Saturday, see below. You will receive a pen and workbook for note taking when you sign in the first time.
Is lunch provided?
No. The conference schedule allows 1 1/2 hours for you to enjoy lunch at one of the many local restaurants or even at home if you live nearby. You may also pack your lunch and enjoy it at one of the picnic tables on the church lawn. For a list of restaurants located within one mile of the church, click HERE. The extended lunch time gives you and your friends or spouse the perfect opportunity to discuss what you've been hearing in the sessions. The Atlantic Ocean is only a mile east of the church, so depending on where you eat, you may even have time leftover to walk the beach together!
Please note that if you have children in the conference childcare, you will need to pick them up and take them with you for the lunch period.
Are snacks available?
Yes. Coffee and water will be available before and after sessions and during breaks. Complimentary snacks such as granola bars, fruit, donuts and chips will be available at those times also.
How do I register and pay?
Register online at Love and Respect's website, HERE, where you will pay by credit card. If you prefer to pay by check or cash, you can register and pay in person at the Coastline Community Church during office hours. See THIS PAGE for more information. You can also register in person this Sunday, Nov 3rd, in either of the church lobbies between services.
What is your cancellation policy?
Per Love & Respect's policy, there are no refunds or exchanges for this event.
Is Childcare provided?
Childcare is available during the conference for ages 0-12. All registrations and payments should be submitted to the church office by November 4. Click HERE to see more information and to download registration forms.
Are scholarships available?
Yes. If you need financial assistance in order to attend, Coastline would like to give you a hand. Please contact Scott and Christine at marriage@thecoastlinechurch.com for details.
Is this a counseling session?
No, this is not a counseling session and there won’t be any certified counselors onsite. However, there will be designated Marriage Enrichment Ministry prayer volunteers who would be happy to pray with you after the last session of each day if you wish.
